New Life’s 5th Sunday Celebrations
Every time a 5th Sunday appears in a month, New Life Spiritualist Church calls it a 5th Sunday Celebration! We celebrate Life, Spirit, and the Source! We celebrate how blessed we are to have each other and how great it is that we are able to worship together in harmony and acceptance. We celebrate by doing many different things. In the summer months, you may find us outside on a Sunday evening. For example in August of 2009 we had a picnic at Bicentennial Park and it was great! The kids and adults played games and we shared great food. Check out the pictures on this web site. God wants us to have fun and appreciate life, and we definitely did just that on that special Sunday!
In the past, we have been concerned that people interested in attending New Life Spiritualist Church sporadically might not know that the 5th Sunday has come upon us and will show up at the church to find we are off on one of our special excursions. But have no fear, we will always leave a sign on the door of the church telling everyone where we are celebrating, so you have time to get there, too. Plus, we will always try to post it on the web site ahead of time.
If you want to share a great idea for a future 5th Sunday celebration, please feel free to email us and we will gladly consider it. It could be anything from a special dinner or performance to an activity, like bowling or sky diving. . . . Well, maybe we’ll think about that sky diving activity just a little bit longer, but you get the idea.
Whether celebrating life, loved ones, Spirit, Source, or all of the above, we sure have a lot of great reasons to celebrate. New Life Spiritualist Church wants you to know that anyone and everyone is always welcome to attend. So, come to one of our uplifting 5th Sunday Celebrations. We look forward to celebrating with you !
